Using the emissions ledger
How the emissions officer reads CII, ETS and FuelEU, and who may submit a report.
The emissions ledger turns one set of fuel figures into CII, EU ETS, UK ETS and FuelEU. The emissions officer ashore drafts the reports and, with publish, marks one submitted. The master can read the ship’s rating when he has view. In the demo Sofia Lindqvist has publish. Kaan Erdem has edit, so he can draft and cannot submit. Watchkeeper has edit and cannot submit either.
Dashboard and pages
The ledger is http://localhost:4400/app/emissions . It shows EU allowances used this year and the year-end projection, every vessel on a CII ladder now and projected, CO₂ and fuel per day, the EU and UK ETS allowance cost, and the FuelEU balance with its penalty exposure. The ETS lines say they are planning assumptions: a share of CO₂ in scope and an allowance price. They are not a verified filing.
Reports is http://localhost:4400/app/reports . EU MRV, IMO DCS, CII, EU ETS and insurer reports show the due date, the CO₂ total and the status. Integrations is http://localhost:4400/app/integrations/emissions .
Workflows
Draft a report needs edit (report.draft). Submit needs publish (report.submit). The button on the report row is Submit. The submitter and the time are pinned by the database. The action is marked outbound to THETIS-MRV or the insurer portal. Both are mocks, so Submit does not file anything. view is enough to read the ladder, the costs and the report list.
Shared records
Fuel and remaining on board come from the noon report. This ledger does not retype them. The fleet map and the vessel table show the CII rating this module produces. Finance may later show the allowance cost. It does not post it from this page. Voyage performance, when it is built, is meant to read the same result per passage.
What the demo simulates
The fuel spike in January and the late report in the demo story are generated. THETIS-MRV and IMO GISIS are mocks. No report leaves the machine. Allowance prices on the page are assumptions, not a market feed.
Integrations
The MQTT gateway, the bunker connector, THETIS-MRV and IMO GISIS are mocks. See Connections and the module reference.
